Introduction
The Digital Talent Group is a group of officers formed among Information Technology Officers (PTM) Grades F9 to F14 from various ministries and agencies. The main goal of establishing the Digital Talent Group is to develop a professional talent pool to refresh and empower human capital and support the Information Systems Services career path.
The Digital Talent Group program implemented is to create a win-win situation between the Government and the officers involved where ministries and agencies will gain expertise/experience/knowledge from officers in implementing initiatives/projects/programs while officers can improve their experience and skills.
The assessment for recognition of the Digital Talent Group according to the ICT Specialization Field is carried out by the Information Systems Services Scheme Career Development and Competency Working Committee Meeting which involves an assessment of the elements and evaluation criteria that have been set according to the field of specialization.
This group is able to contribute experience/skills/knowledge to the Public Sector through involvement in any cross-agency initiative/project/programme according to the Digital Talent Group’s ICT Specialization Area.
The involvement of this Digital Talent Group in any initiative/project/programme aims to increase experience, skills and knowledge for career development and officer competencies.
The National Digital Department (JDN) acts as a coordinator and facilitator in the implementation of programs and expertise development activities of the Digital Talent Group such as offering professional certification, participation in competency development courses/training and involvement in initiatives/projects/programs according to areas of specialization across agencies.
