The Strategic Development and Digital Architecture Division (BSA), National Digital Department (JDN) organzied the Temu Wicara Icon Programme: Nada Kepimpinan Digital on 7 July 2025 at Cyberview Resort & Spa, Cyberjaya Selangor. The half-day program was attended by 30 Information Technology Officers (PTM) Grade F14 from various Ministries/Departments/Agencies as well as JDN’s Top Management.
Temu Wicara Icon Programme: Nada Kepimpinan Digital is a knowledge sharing talk program between invited icon presenters and participants that aims to develop and improve the digital leadership capabilities of ICT personnel, which is one of the core initiatives of “Human Capital Empowerment and Refreshment” under the Public Sector Digitalization Strategic Plan (PSPSA) 2021-2025 and the Information Systems Services Career Plan (PKPSM) 2023-2025.
Two icons, namely YBhg. Datuk Suhaimi bin Sulaiman, the General Director of Broadcasting, Department of Broadcasting Malaysia and YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Nor Aliah binti Mohd Zahri, the former Deputy Director General (ICT), MAMPU were invited to share knowledges, experiences, motivation and inspiration in improving the quality of government service delivery through strengthening the digital management and leadership.
YBhg. Datuk Suhaimi bin Sulaiman explained that leadership personality should embody characteristics such as having a ‘Brand’ (one’s personal brand), the courage to stand out, having a good personality and character, credibility, the ability to manage perceptions well, the bravery to be ‘different from the others’, firmness in leadership (without needing to be overly harsh) and always having fresh thoughts and ideas.
Meanwhile. YBhg Dato’ Dr. Nor Aliah binti Mohd Zahri on the other hand delivered a sharing session that touched on several important points, emphasizing that today’s leaders must be prepared to face the challenges of digital transformation not only from a technical perspective but also by embracing changes in work culture and being able to formulate strategies so that the delivery of Government services can be accepted by users/citizens.
