Digitalization Strategic Plan (PSP)

The Digitalization Strategic Plan (PSP), formerly known as the ICT Strategic Plan (PSICT), is a plan or blueprint that contains the strategic direction of digitalization for public sector agencies for a period of three to five years. The PSP also outlines strategies and programs to guide the agency in planning and implementing agency digitalization initiatives that are in line with the national digitalization agenda. The PSP needs to be in line with the Organizational Strategic Plan (OSP) taking into account the departmental service needs and the latest digital technology developments. The PSP also needs to be monitored and reviewed periodically through a mid-term review (KSP) to ensure that the strategic direction of ICT and digitalization remains relevant to the agency’s organizational environment. The government established KWAICT on 13 June 2013 under Section 10 of the Financial Procedure Act 1957 through a Trust Deed for the Public Sector ICT Project Development Trust Fund.
