Public Sector ICT Project Monitoring Committee (JPPI)

Introduction

At the public sector level, the Public Sector ICT Project Monitoring Committee (JPPI) is a committee at the central level responsible for implementing project monitoring for all ministries/agencies according to the specified scope.


Role


(i) Implement monitoring of ICT projects of Public Sector agencies and report the results of ICT project monitoring to the highest management of the Public Sector;

(ii) Ensure that ICT project strategies and implementation are implemented in accordance with current planning and circulars and regulations in force;

(iii) Recommend actions and directions for resolving significant, long-delayed implementation issues involving various disputes
parties requiring intervention; and

(iv) Assess existing systems and procedures in terms of planning, implementation and evaluation of ICT projects.


JPPI Monitoring Scope

Monitoring by JPPI is based on the following scope and criteria:

(i) All ICT projects of Public Sector agencies that have been approved by the Ministry/Agency JPICT or JTISA;

(ii) Rental services, maintenance of ICT equipment, acquisition /renewal of licenses, acquisition of software and subscriptions are EXEMPT from JPPI monitoring.
