Introduction
– JPICT JDN was established to consider and approve applications for technical approval of ICT projects for the procurement of systems, networks,ICT hardwares, softwares and services at JDN. JDN JPICT also plays a role in coordinating and monitoring the operational implementation of the department’s ICT projects based on the ICT Strategic Plan (ISP).
– All divisions at JDN are required to submit ICT project proposals to JPICT JDN to obtain technical approval before implementation.
Objective
To ensure that the planning and implementation of the department’s ICT program is carried out in line with the government’s ICT policy.
Terms of Reference
I. Establish the directions and strategies for the development and implementation of the agency’s ICT initiatives;
ii. Plan, identify and recommend resources such as expertise, manpower and finance required to implement the agency’s ICT direction/strategy;
iii. Plan and coordinate the development and implementation of the agency’s ICT programs/projects;
iv. Coordinate and standardize the agency’s ICT development to be in line with the organization’s strategic plan and the agency’s ICT strategic plan;
v. Approve agency ICT projects based on actual needs and with prudent spending and in compliance with relevant current regulations;
vi. Follow and monitor the development of the agency’s ICT program as well as understand the needs, problems and issues faced in the development and implementation of ICT;
vii. Plan and determine ICT security measures;
viii. Submit ICT procurement that has been approved at the Agency JPICT level to the Ministry JPICT for approval; and
ix. Submit progress reports on ICT projects that have been approved by JTISA to the Ministry’s JPICT within the specified period.
Application Period

Applications must be submitted to the JPICT JDN Secretariat via email jpictjdn@jdn.gov.my by attaching the following documents:
All ICT procurement applications must be submitted through the Public Sector ICT Project Profile Application System (PROFIT) at the address http://profit.mampu.gov.my/ after being confirmed by the JPICT Secretariat no later than 5 days before the meeting date.
