Integrity Unit Functions

Plan, prepare, implement and monitor directions, initiatives and action plans based on six (6) core functions under Service Circular Number 6 of 2013 for strengthening and instilling a culture of integrity and issues related to integrity management in the public sector.

Main Functions of the Disciplinary, Integrity and Governance Sub-Unit 

    1. Ensure the inculcation, institutionalization and implementation of integrity within the organization;
    2. Ensure the best governance is implemented in JDN;
    3. Managing disciplinary cases involving JDN officers;
    4. Carrying out the secretarial and management functions of Disciplinary Board Meetings (LTT) and Internal Investigation Committee Meetings (JKSD); and
    5. Perform the secretariat function of the Corruption Risk Plan (CRA) Development Committee and the Organizational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP);

  Main Functions of the Complaints Management, Compliance and Detection & Verification Sub-Unit

    1. Receive and take action on all complaints/information regarding criminal misconduct and violations of the organization’s code of conduct and ethics;
    2. Carrying out integrity screening for the purpose of service matters/promotions/interviews and so on;
    3. Report criminal misconduct to the responsible enforcement agency;
    4. Carrying out the secretarial and management functions of the JDN Level Governance Committee Meetings (JTK);  
    5. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    6. Planning to implement audits of financial and procurement management, vehicle and asset management and stores; and     
    7. Plan to implement Integrity Announcements to raise awareness of compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
