Application Development Division

Functions of the Application Development Division

    1. Planning, preparing and implementing innovative technology solutions through the development of applications and digital platforms to increase the efficiency and productivity of government digital services.
    2. Plan, manage, develop, implement, improve, maintain and supervise applications based on sectoral and generic needs across agencies for services to the people.
    3. Design, manage and maintain application infrastructure so that it can operate optimally.
    4. Planning and managing technology requirements, tools , frameworks for application system development.
    5. Managing the secretariat of the Internal System Monitoring Committee (JPSD) Meeting.
    6. Plan, manage and coordinate the development of the government’s digital service gateway as the main channel for delivering services to the people.

Application Management Section

    1. Coordinate and manage new system development applications.
    2. Identify, plan and prepare project initiation documents, technical approval papers and budget requirements either through procurement methods from suppliers or development using internal expertise.
    3. Coordinate, manage, implement and monitor application procurement and administer system development contracts.
    4. Coordinate and manage engagement sessions with system owners regarding system requirements.
    5. Managing the secretariat of the Internal System Monitoring Committee (JPSD) Meeting.
    6. Plan, manage and implement training for system administrators and owners.
    7. Plan, manage and implement change management programs for developed systems.
    8. Plan, manage and prepare standard operating documents for system implementation.
    9. Identify and analyze user experience towards improving the delivery of government digital services.
    10. Plan and manage operational and help desk requirements to support system implementation.
    11. Manage, monitor and implement 1st and 2nd level support help desks and provide centralized system technical advisory services.

Application Operation Section

    1. Coordinate and manage engagement sessions with system owners regarding system requirements.
    2. Planning, studying, identifying and preparing the application and infrastructure requirements to be used.
    3. Plan, analyze and design applications and databases including data integration and migration requirements.
    4. Plan, identify and design user interfaces (UI) for the development of intuitive, easy-to-use and graphically interactive applications.
    5. Plan, manage and supervise the overall implementation of application development activities based on requirements and established timeframes.
    6. Design, develop and improve applications and databases, including for the purpose of replacing applications based on current needs and changing technological requirements.
    7. Plan and implement integration development to ensure that the internal/external systems involved can operate in an integrated manner.
    8. Plan and implement data migration to ensure smooth data flow and work processes.
    9. Plan, manage and implement testing activities to ensure the system is error-free and meets set quality standards.
    10. Plan, manage, and implement impact analysis on issues or defects found during testing.
    11. Prepare, review and verify documents related to system development.
    12. Plan, identify and enforce the use of frameworks and standards that have been set in terms of platform selection, programming languages ​​and databases in implementing application development in line with the latest technology.
    13. Manage, coordinate and monitor backup service operations to ensure they are at an optimal level and operating properly.
    14. Plan, manage, configure, upgrade, implement and monitor the infrastructure of Development, Staging, Training and Production environments to ensure that the system is at an optimal level.
    15. Manage and implement maintenance and technical support activities to ensure the system operates without interruption.
    16. Planning, managing and monitoring the server network of the system that has been developed.
    17. Design, install, configure and monitor the performance of database systems.
    18. Design, manage, implement and maintain tools and frameworks used in system development.

Government Digital Services Gateway Section

    1. Design, manage and coordinate the development of inclusive information (content) based on the concept of people-centered life events.
    2. Plan, manage and coordinate promotional and change management programs for government digital information and services.
    3. Planning, managing, coordinating and maintaining the single gateway for government digital services (MyGovernment Portal);
    4. Planning, managing, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the integration of government digital services based on the Whole-of-Government concept.
    5. Planning, managing, coordinating Cloud Computing Service Subscriptions for the MyGovernment Portal.
