Digital Infrastructure and Security Shared Services Development Division

MyGPKI Services Section

  1. Planning, managing, implementing and monitoring the Government Public Key Infrastructure Service (MyGPKI);
  2. Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of the provision of Government Digital Certificates (User Digital Certificates and Server Digital Certificates) issued by the Certification Authority (CA);
  3. Provide advisory services regarding the use of PKI to public sector agencies and provide help desk services and technical support services to users of the MyGPKI System;
  4. Planning, managing and implementing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for MyGPKI Services;
  5. Planning, managing and implementing Forensic Digital Laboratory Services (MyDFLab); and
  6. Planning and managing the implementation of the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), JDN.

MyGovUC Services Section

  1. Planning, designing, implementing and managing the Government’s Integrated Communication and Collaborative services;
  2. Planning, designing, implementing and managing centralized operational, control and monitoring services for the Government’s Integrated Communication and Collaborative services;
  3. Assess, monitor, analyze and coordinate the Government’s Integrated Communication and Collaborative infrastructure needs;
  4. Planning and managing user help desk services for the Government’s Integrated Communication and Collaborative services;
  5. Manage, evaluate, and monitor security aspects of the Government’s Integrated Communication and Collaborative services;
  6. Plan, implement and manage the expansion of Government Integrated Communication and Collaborative services in new agencies;
  7. Plan, implement and manage change management for the Government’s Integrated Communication and Collaborative services; and
  8. Plan, manage and implement the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for MyGovUC 2.0 Services.

MyGov*Net.WAN Services Section

  1. Planning, managing, implementing and monitoring MyGov*Net.WAN and MyGov*Net.Global services;
  2. Plan, manage, implement and monitor the implementation of MyGov*Net.WAN consolidation, migration and integration;
  3. manage and implement MyGov*Net impact studies and customer satisfaction studies;
  4. Plan, manage and coordinate the governance of MyGov*Net.WAN and MyGov*Net.Global; and
  5. Plan, manage and implement change management for MyGov*Net services.

MyGov*Net.PCN Services Section

  1. Planning, managing, coordinating and monitoring the MyGov*Net.PCN infrastructure;
  2. Improve the quality of MyGov*Net.PCN services by providing added value in terms of technology and operations;
  3. Design and manage the implementation of impact studies, customer satisfaction studies, network assessments and reports related to MyGov*Net.PCN;
  4. Planning, managing and coordinating the governance of MyGov*Net.PCN; and
  5. Planning the implementation of MyGov*Net.PCN migration and integration and network collaboration between Agencies.

Public Sector Data Center Disaster Recovery Section

  1. Planning, designing and developing the MyGovCloud@PDSA disaster recovery infrastructure including ICT hardware and software;
  2. Manage and monitor the operation of the MyGovCloud@PDSA disaster recovery service (DRC) including hardware, software, security, capacity and performance to ensure that the set SLAs are achieved;
  3. Planning, managing and implementing the consolidation and onboarding of new Public Sector agencies including cloud computing, co-location and physical hosting for critical Public Sector applications;
  4. Planning technology refresh and capacity planning for Disaster Recovery service requirements of Public Sector agencies;
  5. Provide technical support services and coordinate the development of Disaster Recovery Technical Assessment Documents; Disaster Recovery Technical Plan and Disaster Recovery Management Plan and simulation testing for Public Sector agencies;
  6. Manage the implementation of the PDSA Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification to ensure the security of the management and operation of MyGovCloud@PDSA in accordance with the international standards of the Information Security System (ISO/IEC 27001:2013) Public Sector Data Centre Section;
  7. Manage MyGovCloud@PDSA achievement status reporting and project status feedback periodically to stakeholders and JDN Top Management; and
  8. Manage and coordinate applications for new MyGovCloud@PDSA projects, development allocations, new and existing policies including updating status
    Project expenditure at the JDN, Digital Ministry and EPU levels under the Malaysia Plan.

Public Sector Data Center Infrastructure Section

  1. Planning, designing and developing comprehensive data center facilities, including cooling systems, power supply systems, architecture and physical security, as well as managing and monitoring the operation of the MyGovCloud@PDSA facility which covers these aspects.
  2. Manage, coordinate and prepare application requirements for physical hosting and co-location services for Public Sector Agencies.
  3. Plan, manage and coordinate the network and security requirements of MyGovCloud@PDSA and MyGov*Net.PDSA.
  4. Manage and monitor network operations and security, including MyGovCloud@PDSA and MyGov*Net.PDSA infrastructure integration implementation.
  5. Design and update policies and guidelines related to the operation and delivery of public sector data center infrastructure services.
  6. Comprehensively plan, manage, monitor the implementation of the operation and maintenance of the MyGovCloud@PDSA facility;
  7. Providing technical support services in project implementation activities, maintenance, operation and data center services for infrastructure facilities, network and security requirements for Public Sector agencies;
  8. Planning technology refresh and capacity planning .
  9. Manage the implementation of PDSA’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification to ensure the security of the management and operation of MyGovCloud@PDSA in accordance with international standards for Information Security Systems (ISO/IEC 27001:2022).

Public Sector Data Center Cloud Computing Section

  1. Design, plan and implement development and expansion projects as well as maintenance of data center ICT equipment including hardware and software for cloud hosting specifically for the Infrastructure As A Services (IAAS) model in the MyGovCloud@PDSA service to ensure that the set SLA is achieved;
  2. Planning, managing and coordinating applications for Cloud Computing service requirements for Public Sector Agencies;
  3. Plan, manage, analyze and implement capacity planning for MyGovCloud@PDSA ICT equipment and software;
  4. Planning, drafting and monitoring Service Level Agreement (SLA) for data center operations and services to achieve specified levels as well as comprehensive support service guarantees for ICT equipment;
  5. Plan, manage, monitor the implementation of the operation and maintenance of ICT equipment of the Public Sector Data Center in a comprehensive manner;
  6. Design and update policies and guidelines for ICT-related data center operations and services; and
  7. Providing technical support services in project implementation activities, maintenance, operation and data center services for infrastructure facilities and ICT equipment at each PDSA location.

Cloud Computing Management Section

  1. Planning, designing, implementing and monitoring the implementation of Government Hybrid Cloud;
  2. Planning, drafting, designing Government Hybrid Cloud architecture;
  3. Manage coordination with four (4) Panel cloud service providers (CSP); Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, TM Cloud and amazon Web Services (AWS) and managed service provider (MSP) respectively;
  4. Planning, managing and monitoring Government Hybrid Cloud capacity planning;
  5. Plan, apply, manage and monitor Government Hybrid Cloud provision for agency use;
  6. Planning, managing and coordinating MyGovCloud service applications;
  7. Planning, managing and monitoring Government Hybrid Cloud operations (ICT resource provisioning and usage efficiency monitoring); and
  8. Plan, manage and monitor cloud resource usage reports and Government Hybrid Cloud billing.

National Critical Information Infrastructure (NCII) Security Section of the Government

  1. Planning, managing, implementing the functions and obligations of the Director General of the National Digital Department (JDN) as the Head of the National Critical Information Infrastructure (NCII) Sector of the Government Sector as stipulated under the Cyber ​​Security Act 2024 [854];
  2. Implement the designation of NCII entities based on the criteria set in accordance with Chief Executive Directive No. 3 – Designation of National Critical Information Infrastructure Entities;
  3. Develop a code of practice document in line with Chief Executive Directive No. 7 – Preparation of a Code of Practice by the Head of the National Critical Information Infrastructure Sector which contains guidelines and security controls that must be implemented and adhered to by all NCII entities;
  4. Monitor, analyze and provide situation reports to the Chief Executive of NACSA ​​on cybersecurity threats or incidents affecting NCII entities under the JDN Government Sector;
  5. Providing advisory services to NCII entities on compliance obligations under Act 854 including the directives in force;
  6. Implement the instructions of the Chief Executive of NACSA ​​and the decisions of the National Cyber ​​Security Committee (JKSN);
  7. Provide regular status reporting and feedback on the implementation of NCII by the JDN government sector to the JDN Management; and
  8. Planning, managing and implementing Forensic Digital Laboratory Services (MyDFLAB).
