Functions of the Strategic Development and Digital Architecture Division

1. 1. Planning, managing and monitor the implementation of Enterprise Architecture (EA), Repository and MyGovEA Portal as well as develop the competencies of Public Sector Agency EA Champions .

   2. Planning, managing, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the Public Sector Digitalisation Strategic Plan (PSPSA) and
      Public Sector Data Dictionary (PDDS).

   3. Planning, managing, coordinating and implementing Public Sector ICT Technical Committee Meetings (JTISA).

   4. Planning, managing and coordinating the Career Path Development of the Public Sector Information Systems Service Scheme.

   5. Planning, managing and coordinating the Human Resource Development Programmes of the Public Sector Information System Service Scheme.

   6. Planning, managing, coordinating and implementing strategic ICT collaborative programmes for Public Sector ICT with foreign governments academia and local and international industries.

   7. Planning, managing, coordinating and implementing Government Cluster Modernization and MyDIGITAL Committee Meetings as well as coordinating the reporting related to the Public Sector MyDIGITAL initiatives.

   8. Monitoring the implementation progress of Public Sector agency ICT Projects and managing the public Sector ICT Project Development Trust Fund (KWAICT).

EA Implementation Monitoring Section (SPEA) 

1. 1. Planning, managing, coordinating Enterprise Architecture (EA) Master Plans and Policies.

   2. Planning, managing, and coordinating the Public Sector EA governance.

   3. Planning and monitoring the implementation of Public Sector EA at the Ministry level.

   4. Designing, managing and maintaining the MyGovEA Portal and Repository.

   5. Planning, managing and developing the content of the MyGovEA Repository and Portal.
      

   6. Planning, managing, coordinating and develop Public Sector EA capabilities including courses/training, awareness programmes and Transfer of Knowledge.

 ICT Implementation and Strategic Monitoring Section (SPSI) 

1. 1. Planning, managing, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the Public Sector Digitalisation Strategic Plan (PSPSA);

   2. Planning, managing, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the Public Sector Data Dictionary (DDSA) at the Ministry and Agency levels;

   3. Coordinating ICT project applications under JDN Development Expenditure (DE), for the JDN ICT Sector;

   4. Coordinating the preparation of inputs for the JDN ICT programme under the Malaysia Plan (RMK); and

   5. Managing, coordinating and maintaining the content of the Public Sector Data Dictionary System (SDDSA)

ICT Project Evaluation Section (SPPI)

1. 1. Planning, managing, coordinating and implementing Public Sector ICT Technical Committee Meetings (JTISA);

   2. Managing and coordinating assessment reports of ICT projects proposals under the Malaysia Plan;

   3. Managing, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the Public Sector ICT Project Profile Application System (PROFIT)

   4. Managing and coordinating technical feedback related to ICT Project Procurement and Evaluation; and

   5. Providing advisory services on General Circular Letter Number 7 of 2024 which is currently in force.

  Information Systems Services Career Management Section (SPSM)

1. 1. Planning, managing and coordinating the Career of the Information Systems Service Scheme.

   2. Planning, managing and coordinating Succession Planning Plans for strategic positions of
      Public Sector Information Technology Officer Service Scheme.

   3. Managing the secretariat of the Public Sector Information System Service Scheme Competency and Career Development Assessment Panel Meeting.

   4. Planning, managing and coordinating applications, assessments, certifications and monitoring of ICT SMEs.

   5. Managing the Public Sector Information System Service Repository through the Career Management System (SPK).

   6. Planning, coordinating and implementing the Information Systems Service Scheme engagement with the Head of Information Systems Service.

   7. Coordinating and providing reviews on strengthening the ICT organizational structure of the Ministry/agency.

Information Systems Services Competency Development Section (SPKP)

1. 1. Planning, managing and developing Human Resource Development Programmes for Public Sector Information Systems Services.

   2. Planning, managing, developing and monitoring the Public Sector Information Systems Services Competency Development Plan.

   3. Planning, managing, developing and monitoring the Public Sector Information System Services Training Roadmap .
      

   4. Planning, managing, developing and monitoring special placement programs through strategic collaboration with IPTA, IPTS or local and international industries.

   5. Coordinating the selection of candidates for sponsorship and training programs (HLP, JICA, COTI, YDP Agong Scholarship).
      

   6. Planning, managing and implementing ICT technical and general/humanities competency development programmes for Public Sector Information Systems Services.

   7. Managing applications for the Public Sector Information Systems Services Professional Certification Programme.
