Functions of the Strategic Development and Digital Architecture Division

1. 1. Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of Enterprise Architecture (EA), Repository and MyGovEA Portal as well as develop the competencies of Public Sector Agency EA Champions .

   2. Plan, manage, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Public Sector Digitalization Strategic Plan (PSPSA) and
      Public Sector Data Dictionary (PDDS).

   3. Planning, managing, coordinating and implementing Public Sector ICT Technical Committee Meetings (JTISA).

   4. Planning, managing and coordinating the Career Path Progression of the Public Sector Information Systems Service Scheme.

   5. Planning, managing and coordinating the Human Resource Development Program of the Sector Information System Service Scheme
      Public.

   6. Plan, manage, coordinate and implement strategic collaborative programs for Public Sector ICT with the government
      abroad, academia and industry at home and abroad.

   7. Plan, manage, coordinate and implement Government Cluster Modernization and MyDIGITAL Committee Meetings as well as coordinate reporting related to Public Sector MyDIGITAL initiatives.

   8. Monitor the progress of implementation of ICT projects of Public Sector agencies, manage the Public Sector ICT Project Development Trust Fund (KWAICT).

EA Implementation Monitoring Section (SPEA) 

1. 1. Plan, manage and coordinate Enterprise Architecture (EA) Master Plans and Policies.

   2. Plan, manage and coordinate the governance of Public Sector EA.

   3. Planning and monitoring the implementation of Public Sector EA at the Ministry level.

   4. Design, manage and maintain the MyGovEA Portal and Repository.

   5. Planning, managing and developing the content of the MyGovEA Repository and Portal.
      

   6. Plan, manage, coordinate and develop Public Sector EA capabilities including courses/training, awareness programs and Transfer of Knowledge.

 ICT Implementation and Strategic Monitoring Section (SPSI) 

1. 1. Plan, manage, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Public Sector Digitalization Strategic Plan (PSPSA);

   2. Plan, manage, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Public Sector Data Dictionary (DDSA) at the Ministry and Agency levels;

   3. Coordinate ICT project applications under JDN development allocations (DE), for the JDN ICT Sector;

   4. Coordinate the preparation of inputs for the JDN ICT program under the Malaysia Plan (RMK); and

   5. Manage, coordinate and maintain the content of the Public Sector Data Dictionary System (SDDSA)

ICT Project Evaluation Section (SPPI)

1. 1. Planning, managing, coordinate and implement Public Sector ICT Technical Committee Meetings (JTISA);

   2. Manage and coordinate assessment reports suggestion ICT projects under the Malaysia Plan;

   3. Manage, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Public Sector ICT Project Profile Application System (PROFIT)

   4. Manage and coordinate technical feedback related to ICT Project Procurement and Evaluation; and

   5. Providing advisory services on General Circular Letter Number 7 of 2024 which is currently in force.

  Information Systems Services Career Management Section (SPSM)

1. 1. Planning, managing and coordinating the Career Path Progression of the Information Systems Service Scheme.

   2. Plan, manage and coordinate Succession Planning Plans for strategic positions
      Public Sector Information Technology Officer Service Scheme.

   3. Managing the secretariat of the Public Sector Information System Service Scheme Competency and Career Development Assessment Panel Meeting.

   4. Planning, managing and coordinating applications, assessments, certifications and monitoring of ICT SMEs.

   5. Managing the Public Sector Information System Service Repository through the Career Management System (SPK).

   6. Plan, coordinate and implement the Information Systems Service Scheme engagement with the Head of Information Systems Service.

   7. Coordinate and provide reviews on strengthening the ICT organizational structure of the Ministry/agency.

Information Systems Services Competency Development Section (SPKP)

1. 1. Planning, managing and developing Human Resource Development Programs for Public Sector Information Systems Services.

   2. Plan, manage, develop and monitor the Public Sector Information Systems Services Competency Development Plan.

   3. Plan, manage, develop and monitor the Public Sector Information System Services Training Roadmap .
      

   4. Planning, managing, developing and monitoring special placement programs through strategic collaboration with IPTA, IPTS or domestic and foreign industries.

   5. Coordinate the selection of candidates for sponsorship and training programs (HLP, JICA, COTI, YDP Agong Scholarship).
      

   6. Plan, manage and implement ICT technical and general/humanities competency development programs for Public Sector Information Systems Services.

   7. Manage applications for the Public Sector Information Systems Services Professional Certification Program .
