Official Visit By The Deputy Director General, Management And Legal Development Sector (SKPP), Federal Department Of Director General Of Lands And Mines (JKPTG) To The Disaster Recovery Centre (DRC), Bandar Enstek

Lawatan Kerja Timbalan Ketua Pengarah, Sektor Kemajuan Pengurusan Dan Perundangan (SKPP), Jabatan Ketua Pengarah Tanah Dan Galian Persekutuan (JKPTG) Ke Pusat Pemulihan Bencana (DRC), Bandar Enstek

August 19, 2025 – JKPTG conducted a official visit to the Disaster Recovery Centre at the Public Sector Data Centre (PDSA), National Digital Department (JDN), in Bandar Baru Enstek on August 18.

The objective of the visit was to establish strategic cooperation between JKPTG and JDN in managing information security, ensuring service continuity in the event of a disaster, and providing exposure to the roles, facilities, and services offered by MyGovCloud@PDSA.

The delegation of 10 officers was led by Mr Abdul Aziz bin Mohd Johdi, Deputy Director General of the Management and Legal Development Sector (SKPP), Federal Department of Director General of Lands and Mines (JKPTG).

Ts. Norazura binti Mohd Nor, Head of the Disaster Recovery Services Unit, delivered a briefing on the management of PDSA from the aspects of technical operations and data security.

Also present were: Izheir Azam Ibrahim Rais, Deputy Director of the Private Cloud Section, Support and PDSA Branch; Ts. Nazri Nordin, Technical Support Unit, Enstek; Ts. Norazura binti Mohd Nor and Mohd Riduan Alias, from the Disaster Recovery Services Unit.

The JKPTG delegation was also taken on a tour of the infrastructure facilities and the data disaster recovery approach implemented at PDSA. As a research agency managing sensitive data, this exposure is crucial to strengthening JKPTG’s preparedness in facing any ICT incidents.

The information sharing and best practices exchanged during this visit are expected to help JKPTG in formulating a more robust ICT infrastructure management strategy, aligned with the digital transformation aspirations of the public sector.
