Corporate Planning and Communications Division

International Relations Section

  1. Coordinate feedback, comments and input regarding bilateral and multilateral relations and memorandums of understanding (MOU).
  2. Coordinate official matters of JDN’s overseas visits and receiving official courtesy visits from foreign government delegations.
  3. Coordinate the preparation of briefings and speaking notes related to digital transformation for official international programs involving the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Digital Minister, Director General of JDN and other heads of delegation recognized by the Malaysian Government.
  4. Processing applications for approval to leave the country on official duty for the Director General of JDN and JDN officers.
  5. Managing the first JDN international conference, SmartGov Malaysia 2025.

Strategic Planning Section

  1. Planning and coordinating the preparation of the JDN Strategic Plan.
  2. Monitor the achievement of the JDN Strategic Plan.
  3. Coordinate the review and revision of the JDN Strategic Plan.
  4. Plan and coordinate the preparation of the JDN Risk Plan.
  5. Coordinate risk management based on the JDN Risk Plan.
  6. Coordinate the preparation of the JDN Strategic Plan Achievement Report.
  7. Planning, coordinating and implementing the secretariat of JDN Management Meetings.

Administrative Unit

  1. Managing administration includes human resources, finance, administration and records.

Exhibition, Multimedia and Library Section

  1. Coordinate and manage the content of the JDN portal.
  2. Managing the JDN Portal Content Working Committee Meeting.
  3. Prepare, manage, monitor, and update content regarding JDN Initiatives, Programs, and Activities for promotion and announcements.
  4. Coordinate and provide graphic design for JDN Promotions, Corporate and Publications.
  5. Coordinate photography assignments for JDN programs and activities.
  6. Coordinate and manage JDN’s participation in exhibition activities organized by the Department or external agencies.
  7. Prepare media content for display in the lobby.
  8. Coordinate and prepare the publication of bulletins, annual reports and publications
    JDN periodical.
  9. Coordinate and provide live streaming services for department programs on media platforms.

Library Unit

  1. Managing and planning the construction of collections,
  2. Manage, plan and coordinate library services and reading promotion activities to realize the importance of lifelong learning.
  3. Implement a computerized system in the library to ensure that library services run smoothly with ICT equipment.
  4. Planning the Library’s annual budget needs.

Corporate and Public Relations Section

  1. Manage and monitor corporate affairs.
  2. Manage and monitor the implementation of courtesy visits to the Director General of JDN / JDN by government and private agencies.
  3. Planning, coordinating and managing the procurement of JDN corporate souvenirs.
  4. Coordinate requests for JDN corporate souvenirs to domestic and foreign visitors and to participants/visitors for activities organized by JDN.
  5. Coordinate and monitor JDN Complaints Management through SISPAA.
  6. Coordinate publicity planning through newspapers and electronic media regarding programs, activities, campaigns, etc.
  7. Update, monitor and assess compliance with the JDN Customer Charter.
  8. Conduct public relations activities such as announcements, news and the latest government information to JDN employees and other public sector agencies via email and social media.
  9. Monitor Customer Service Officers (CSOs) at the JDN Customer Service counter.
  10. Prepare and conduct JDN External Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
  11. Coordinate trademark applications for JDN services/products.
  12. Planning and coordinating the production and procurement of JDN’s corporate calendar.
  13. Implement JDN Customer Meeting Day.

Digital Policy Coordination Section

Policy Coordination Unit

  1. Plan, manage and coordinate digital technical policies in line with the country’s digital development with stakeholders.
  2. Review, evaluate and submit digital technical policy recommendations for improving existing policies in line with current digitalization developments.
  3. Develop internal policy-related instructions to facilitate policy management.
  4. Coordinate and monitor compliance with relevant circular procedures currently in force.

Parliamentary Affairs and Communications Unit

  1. Manage, plan, coordinate matters related to Parliamentary affairs.
  2. Coordinate feedback and input on proposals received from Parliament.
  3. Coordinate answers to Parliamentary questions (House of Representatives and Senate).
  4. Coordinate the dissemination of information on digitalization policies to Government agencies.
  5. Manage the policy repository of the National Digital Department.
  6. Coordinate Technical Reviews for the Electronic Government Activities Act [Act 680].
