e-Participation Policy

This policy aims to initiate a culture and practice of e-participation to enhance transparency and public participation in improving the quality of services provided by National Digital Department (JDN).

The National Digital Department recognises the value of public engagement as it enables the department to explore broader perspectives, sources of information, and potential solutions to improve decision making and service delivery. It also lays the foundation for productive relationships, better dialogue and discussions, and structured governance.

The objective of this participation is to involve citizens in policy development and decision-making processes through the use of information and communication technologies. Communication channels used include portal polling, public participation, portal feedback (feedback/participation/complaints/suggestions), customer satisfaction surveys, and JDN’s social media platforms — Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
