List of Information Systems Service Officers Who Have Received Recognition as Professional Technologists (Ts.) and Certified Technicians (Tc.)

Background

The National Digital Department (JDN) has launched an initiative to announce the list of Information Systems Service Officers who have obtained the recognition of Professional Technologist (Ts.) and Certified Technician (Tc.) from the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT). This recognition reflects the level of technical skills of officers that can be utilized in supporting the implementation of the delivery of government digital services.

This announcement also provides an opportunity for ministries and public sector agencies to obtain information regarding highly skilled Information Systems Service Officers for the purpose of their involvement in the implementation of digital projects according to their respective competency levels. This step can ensure that the technical skills of recognized officers can be utilized in the implementation of government digital services.

Objective

1. Informing the official list of public sector Information Systems Service Officers who have Ts. and Tc. recognition to facilitate reference for ministries/agencies.
2. Support the optimization of experience and expertise by ensuring that officers with technical skills can be utilized in the development and implementation of digital projects
3. Allowing the appointment of officers (with the approval of the supervisor) as Project Technical Committee Members, Specification Preparation Committee Members and other related technical roles according to the officer’s suitability and skills; and
4. Strengthening the public sector digital human capital ecosystem through professional recognition that highlights officers’ skills in their respective fields.

If the name of YBrs. Ts./Dr./Mr./Ms. is not listed, please cooperate to update the status in HRMIS.
