The Digitalisation Strategic Plan (PSP), formerly known as the ICT Strategic Plan (PSICT), is a plan or blueprint that contains the strategic direction of digitalization for public sector agencies for a period of three to five years. The PSP also outlines strategies and programmes to guide the agency in planning and implementing the digitalisation initiatives that are in line with the national digitalisation agenda. The PSP needs to be in line with the Organisational Strategic Plan (OSP) taking into account the department’s requirements and the latest digital technology developments. The PSP will be monitored and reviewed periodically through a mid-term review (MTR) to ensure that the strategic direction of ICT and digitalisation remains relevant to the agency’s organisational environment. The government has established KWAICT on 13 June 2013 under Section 10 of the Financial Procedure Act 1957 through a Trust Deed for the Public Sector ICT Project Development Trust Fund.
